## Test Overview, Monday 22 August 2011

The test runs in smoothly. No one absent today, thanks God 🙂

In only 35 minutes test or in every test session, I don’t like to be asked by students because students’ concentration can be distracted by that.Â

What do you think, guys, about your first test with me? The test is not hard, isn’t it? Of course, if you study hard.

Study hard doesn’t mean only study a night or two nights before the test. If you stay focus and concentrate in every lesson and do your homework in properly, you can face the test in easily. Some of you who always struggle in mathematics, mathematics can be studied by following step by step working solutions, memorize the pattern or type of questions. Probably, if there are some of you who want to testify those mentioned by me, please reply here 🙂

Stella…..you are amazing, perfect score for you

Brian…… you tried hard, didn’t you? (y)

Benny……….your chat was awesome :p in our chat room

Andrew…….you need to improve your hand writing :), actually, you have good logic in maths

Clarissa Donna………quick to catch up the things because of sickness (y)

Venisha………keep up the good work

Kenny……….always use English to chat with me, thanks Kenny for improving mine :p

Marsha…………proficiat on your Skate competition in Bangkok. You are fast learner, catch up the lesson during your absentees, ok? (y)

OMG, I want to mention all of you………….bisa gak muat space nya Oh No!!!

Guys, power point presentation, presented by Mr. Yulian is available in mathematics.hedy.me. But, before that, to remind you about the lesson today, please answer this following questions by replying as the comment. Who want to be the first 10 students reply for the following questions below?

1. Mention one characteristics of two parallel lines. hint: related to their gradients.

2. Mention one characteristics of two perpendicular lines. hint: related to their gradients.

3. $\frac{3}{2}&space;and&space;-\frac{2}{3}$ is called a pair of ……………… hint: when you multiply both numbers together, the result is -1.

4. Negative reciprocal of $\frac{5}{4}$ is…………….

5. Why $2x+y=5$ and $y=-2x+2$ are said parallel? hint: make y the subject (ubahlah menjadi y = ) for the first equation and refer to question number 1.

6. Do the lines $x+3y=3$ and $3y=9x+5$ perpendicular? Give reason! hint: make y the subject (ubahlah menjadi y = ) for the second equation and refer to question number 2.

Check for the second online homework that will be opened by tomorrow.Â

## Announcement

Year 9 Students,

There are chat room (where available when I enter the room as well), math forum and one trial homework online that starting this afternoon at 5 pm. Two attempts only and highest score will be graded.

Wish you all the best in your way to study. You are encouraged to study in your own time. I won’t be able to chat all the time with you, however, I will spend my time a lot to help you.

## In the class

9.4…..malah membaca “tentang saya”, harusnya coba simulasi geogebra 🙂 tapi gpp, kan pertama kali ya 🙂

See you in the next period on Wednesday, 10th Aug 2011
